Great news, inventors! For the fourth consecutive year, producers from “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” will visit InventHelp’s INPEX trade show!

Exhibitors at the show will have the opportunity to sign up for times to go in front of the cameras and explain their inventions to America. Producers from the show then take the footage back to L.A. where they edit together a couple segments that usually air on “The Tonight Show” during the summer or fall months.

Though not every inventor who participates will be featured on the program, a handful of lucky INPEX inventors are usually included in the segments. You may have seen some of these “Pitch to America” segments on “The Tonight Show” in the past. Last year, they ended up airing two different segments, and each featured about six inventors.

Keep in mind, “The Tonight Show” is a comedy program, so obviously they’re going to focus on inventions and inventors that will make people laugh. So keep you presentation lighthearted and make sure you bring your sense of humor!

Along with the possibility of getting your invention exposure on national TV, presenting to “The Tonight Show” crew also gives inventors the chance to polish their media skills – which can be very helpful when trying to promote inventions or new products.
