InventHelp® and INPEX®, in conjunction with The Carnegie Science Center and The Glami Corporation of Korea, are looking for young inventors to display their inventions and ideas at INPEX 2011, on Friday, June 17th, at the Monroeville Convention Center.

In addition, a cash prize of $1500 & $1000 will be awarded by Mr. Jong Hyun Nam, CEO of The Glami Corporation, to our first and second place finalists chosen by members of INPEX’s international jury!

The kids are able to set up their inventions at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17. From 1:00-3:00 p.m., the inventions will be on display, and the young inventors will have the opportunity to discuss their inventions with business professionals as well as members of the general public. From 2:00-3:00 p.m., the inventions will be judged, and at 3:30 p.m., the winners will be announced in an awards ceremony on the INPEX show floor.

In an effort to promote innovation with our youth, INPEX is inviting students ages 6-18 to display their inventions and have them judged by several judges from our international jury. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for these young inventors to have the chance to present their ideas to industry professionals!

Before you enter, there are a couple things you need to know. First, the contest is only open to U.S. residents. Second, in order to enter, you must have a registered U.S. Patent and an invention prototype or product inventory.

Just like last year’s show, INPEX 2008 will feature product searches from companies looking for new products to add to their existing lines. Already signed on for this year’s show are Tupperware, Everlast and Hasbro. If you have a product that would be applicable to one of these companies, you can come to INPEX and pitch your product directly to their representatives (find more info about our product searches on the INPEX home page).

Also, coming in November will be the start of our first-ever INPEX booth giveaway contest. Inventors with patented inventions can fill out an entry form and have the opportunity to win a free 5×10 booth at the 2008 show. In total, we’ll be giving away FIVE booths – that’s a booth a month for five months! The contest kicks off November 15th!
