Have a product you think might be able to sell on television? If so, The InventHelp-INPEX New Product Showcase at Electronic Retailing Association’s (ERA) annual convention will be held September 24-26, 2013, at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. This showcase will give inventors the opportunity to present their new products to companies in the direct response television industry.
ERA D2C is the only trade show dedicated to direct response retail sales and product development on TV, radio and online! During the three day show, inventors who have booked exhibit space will attend educational seminars and present their product to a panel of direct marketers and retailers for a chance to be crowned, “Inventor of the Year.”
Also, the top five scoring inventors will have the chance to see their product pitched on stage by professional pitchmen & women in front of a live audience. Inventions are chosen based on DRTV pitchability and DRTV potential.
At INPEX 2013, several inventors were selected by panelists from the DRTV industry for an invitation to participate at D2C. Along with these inventors, we’re also inviting any inventor who thinks they have an appropriate product to contact us for more information. Space is first come, first served, and inventors will need to fill out a vetting form about their invention so that experts from the DRTV industry can pre-qualify them to exhibit at the show.

For those inventors still trying to decide whether to purchase a booth at INPEX 2013, I wanted to let you know that we only have 10 booth spaces left!

Hello all! Over the weekend, I returned home from Las Vegas and ERA D2C 2012. I wanted to share all of the exciting details from this year’s show.
As promised, I wanted to start by announcing the 2012 “Inventor of the Year.”
Adam Pauze, of Aurora, Ontario, Canada for his invention, “The Drywall Axe™.”
The Drywall Axe™ is a redesigned measuring tape that allows a user to perform multiple functions. The product includes a utility knife and a pencil holder. Easy to use, the tool is designed to help save time and promote efficiency.
On Wednesday afternoon during show hours, every inventor in the New Product Showcase had the opportunity to present their product to a panel of members in the Learning Lounge. Inventors demonstrated their inventions and products to a 5-member panel, and panel members judged the inventors on the “pitchability” of their product while also providing them with valuable feedback. At the end of the pitch session, the top scoring inventors were told that they would get to see their products pitched on the D2C stage on Thursday during the Pitch By the Pros session.
This year’s professionals at the Pitch By the Pros session included Erin Murphy, Chris Steele, Jenny Repco, Dave King and Tracy Metro. Hosted by Tom Jourden, the Pros each took to the stage to pitch the top scoring products from the previous day.
The other four inventors who got to see their products pitched on stage by professional pitchmen and women were:

Murray Goodman – Laser Touch One
Dr. Roland Berthiaume – Lo-Bak™ Trax
Sherre McMahan – AccessorEaz
Adam was declared the winner, and he took home a trophy, as well as two complimentary tickets to the ERA Moxie Awards later that evening at the close of the show.
Adam said this about his experience: “I’m so glad I had this opportunity to present my product to members of the ERA. I’m grateful to the panel for selecting me as the inventor of the year!”
Congratulations to Adam, and all of the inventors who had their products pitched by the pros!

If INPEX® isn’t your first trade show, you’ve undoubtedly experienced the lull that happens at other industry trade shows. For whatever reason, at certain times the show floor just seems quiet and a little less traveled.
