A few weeks ago, I wrote about an opportunity for inventors to display their toy inventions in the INPEX-sponsored Inventor Center at Toy Fair in New York City. Now, I want to let you know about another opportunity we have available – this one for inventors with housewares inventions.
For the second year in a row, INPEX® and Response Magazine are sponsoring the Inventors’ Corner at the International Home and Housewares Show. Inventors’ Corner gives inventors the chance to display their housewares products with other inventors in a special area publicized and promoted by the show as “an area to find new inventions”.
The International Home and Housewares Show takes place March 16-18, 2008, at McCormick Place in Chicago. It is the world’s largest homegoods and housewares marketplace, with around 60,000 business attendees.
If you’ve never been to the Home & Housewares Show before, it is a really exciting trade show, and a great place to exhibit almost any housewares invention – from appliances and cleaning products to food and cooking utensils. To learn more about exhibiting with INPEX at the Home & Housewares show, you can request more information.
On another note: in a previous post I provided a link to a resource page with information about some famous African-American inventors. Since many people found that link useful and I’ve had a lot of requests for information about famous women inventors, I thought I’d provide another link from InventHelp with information on some historical female inventors. Hope this helps!
