Greetings inventors and entrepreneurs,
As we reach the beginning of February, INPEX is now less than six months away! This is the time when the show really begins to take shape as we start to finalize many of our events, speakers and product reviews.
To get the ball rolling, I’d like to formally announce the keynote speaker for the 2008 INPEX Inventor’s University. For those of you who don’t know, the Inventor’s University is a series of presentations designed to provide inventors with information they may find useful in pursuing their ideas.
And delivering this year’s keynote speech will be none other than “Famous” Wally Amos, the innovative mind behind the original Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookie store, Uncle Wally’s Muffins and the Chip & Cookie brand. Along with his success in the baked goods industry, Mr. Amos also is the author of eight inspirational books including “The Power of Self Esteem”, “The Cookie Never Crumbles” and “Be Positive”.
Wally Amos is a really enthusiastic and upbeat speaker, and we’re sure he’ll deliver a great keynote at INPEX. I invite everyone to visit his website (www.wallyamos.com) to read about all his diverse achievements – as an entrepreneur, author, speaker and literacy advocate – because they’re pretty impressive.
The contributions of Mr. Amos are also notable as we enter into Black History Month. During the month of February, we at INPEX think it is important to recognize the hard work and accomplishments of African-American inventors and entrepreneurs everywhere. To many, “Famous” Wally Amos is one of the best known chocolate chip cookie innovators in the business.
