Sadly, the holidays are over, but plans for INPEX’s 2010 25th Anniversary Show are in full gear! With that being said, I’m pleased to announce that the following companies have agreed to conduct private product searches at the show:
Folks representing these companies will be looking for new and innovative ideas which include power tool inventions, household, electronic, apparel and personal care products. So this gives you, the inventor, the chance to present your product in front of these leading manufacturing companies for feedback about your invention.
Call 1-888-54-INPEX today to secure your booth space. Don’t miss this opportunity to possibly present your product to The Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, Church & Dwight and SkyMall!

What better way to go into the holiday season than with two new updates on former INPEX exhibitors. I originally brought you an update back in October about our 2008 Grand Prix winner Fred Cona. I’m happy to report more good news for Fred. He was featured along with his invention, the Portable Carpentry Workshop, on the DIY Network show “Cool Tools” with host Chris Grundy earlier this week. Visit diynetwork.com to watch the segment. Congratulations from everyone at InventHelp and INPEX, Fred!
INPEX exhibitors Floyd Martin and Terry Peterson also have a lot to celebrate this holiday season. Their invention, “Solar Hybrid Flashlight”, can now be purchased at Sam’s Club, Lowe’s, Costco, BJ’s, Dollar General, in the LL Bean catalog, and on QVC. This solar panel flashlight can charge for eight hours in any light source and can hold up to twelve hours of light. It is also waterproof up to 80 feet. For more information on the Solar Hybrid Flashlight, visit hybridlight.com.
Maybe the carpenter or gadget guru in your house will find one of these inventor products under the tree this year!
Happy holidays from InventHelp and INPEX!

Get ready to take a stroll back to the arcade period. We’re happy to announce that we’ve chosen Nolan Bushnell as our keynote speaker for INPEX 2010!
Known as the “Father of the Electronic Gaming” industry, Nolan Bushnell is most recognized for making our childhood video game days memorable with his invention of both Pong and Atari and believe it or not, created the only place where a kid can be a kid, Chuck E. Cheese.
Bushnell has been convinced that computer games are an excellent way to bring together curiosity and creativity. At the very least, he has revolutionized entertainment in public and at home and will continue to do so. To date, he has founded 18 companies and has worked in many different fields, but still continues to develop computer games.
We’re anxious to hear Mr. Bushnell speak on the topic of entrepreneurship and innovation at the INPEX Inventor’s University™ on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:00am.

I always love hearing from former INPEX exhibitors, especially those who have gone home with the top prize.
INPEX 2008 Grand Prix winner Fred Cona has been in the carpentry business for 21 years. On a mission to do anything he could to help people work safely and more efficiently, Cona started his own company called Rolling Trades in 2008. He invented the PCW – Portable Carpentry Workshop, an all-in-one portable workshop for carpenters and other contractors that would require no set-up or dismantling after use.
Born out a frustration and necessity on the jobsite, the PCW helped Cona win the top prize at INPEX and $7500.
Cona is well on his way to manufacturing his product and is pleased to report that a first-time purchaser of his invention walked away very happy. “I’ve accomplished a lot since INPEX and still have a very long way to go,” said Cona. “INPEX was a great first experience in the invention world.” For additional information on Rolling Trades and the PCW, visit Fred Cona’s website at www.rollingtrades.com.
