At INPEX 2008, representatives from The Robert Bosch Tool Corporation (manufacturers and marketers of Bosch, Skil, Dremel, Rotozip, Gilmour and Vermont America brand power tools and accessories) conducted a search for new tool products. INPEX exhibitors with applicable inventions presented their ideas to Bosch and received feedback and consideration for addition to the Bosch product line.

In addition to Bosch’s product search at INPEX, the company also handed out a number of awards to inventors who presented their hardware inventions. But, rather than traditional medals or trophies, Bosch fittingly awarded exhibitors with different products under its brand umbrella. Some winners received drills or saws, while others were given sanders or power boxes. All in all, 18 inventors received awards from Bosch. Here is a list of the inventors who received Bosch awards along with the names of their inventions:
